Trabuco Heights is a comfortable modern apartment accommodating 4/5 adults. Facing south, the sun streams in through the windows and balcony doors during summer and most days during winter. It is a pleasure just to sit and enjoy the views as the shadows move across the mountains opposite.
Living Room
Spacious open plan living area leading to kitchen/diner. Air-conditioning/heater. Sofa bed, chairs, Satellite TV (FTA), DVD player, CD player. WiFi Internet access. Small library of DVDs, CDs and books. There is a wide selection of travel guides maps and tourist inofrmation. Patio doors lead onto the small balcony with superb views.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hob and electric oven, extractor fan, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery, glasses and a shopping trolley.
Bedrooms
2 double bedrooms with wardrobe, drawers, bedside tables and lamps, hairdryer, ceiling fan and fantastic views over the village to the mountains. Portable halogen heaters are provided for the cooler months. There is a sofa bed in the living area. A travel cot and folding bed can be provided for children - please ask.
Bathroom
Spacious shower room with vanity unit and basin, wc, panel heater and plenty of storage.
Linen/Towels
Towels and bedlinen are provided and are of the best quality cotton. There are spare sheets and plenty of extra towels. Duvets and extra pillows are available. There are beach mats and towels for the coast and lakes
Outside
Trabuco Heights has some of the best panoramic views of Trabuco's 'pueblo blanco' and the mountain range beyond. It immediately looks over a quiet, wide residential street. Be prepared for the occasional spontaneous flamenco singing and perhaps a neighbour bringing his miniature pony to the front of his house! To the rear of the property is a private garden with terracotta tiled patio. Table and chairs are provided for al fresco dining. A raised patio has a gas-fired barbeque for grilling the local meat, fish and vegetables The garden is very tranquil with the rustle of the pine trees and bird songs being the only distractions whilst relaxing in the hammock or on a sun lounger on the separate sun terrace. The municipal swimming pool is on the road through the pine forest approximately 5 minutes walk. Open mid June to mid September,it has beautiful gardens and a good restaurant/bar with reasonable prices.
Accessibility
As Villanueva del Trabuco is a mountain village, there are many slopes and steps. The property is on a high level, and as such, it may be unsuitable for those with walking difficulties. Pets are not allowed. Smokers are asked to respect our property and smoke outside although caution should be observed near the pine forest!
Provisions & airport transfers
We provide a 'welcome pack' with the basic essentials to get you started (shops do not open on Sundays). Bus services are available from Malaga airport. We can provide timetables. A private shuttle taxi (pre-booked) is 80 euros each way. The best option is car hire from Malaga airport - see our Links page and book online before your trip.
